Privacy policy

Effective from 19.10.2026.

This page describes what information alga24.lv processes when you use the salary calculator. In short: no registration, no collection of names, e-mail addresses or other personal data, and no advertising. Visit statistics are collected with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies.

1. Data you enter in the calculator

The values you enter (salary, year, number of dependants, pension status, disability group, etc.) are sent to our server only to calculate the result. The server does not store them — they are not written to a database or files and are not linked to you.

Some fields (such as disability group or receiving a pension) may reveal information about you. The calculator works without them as well.

2. Calculation links

The values are written into the page address (for example, ?amt=1800&year=2026) so that a calculation can be bookmarked or sent to someone. If you share such a link, the recipient will see those values.

3. Information stored in your browser

Saved calculations and some interface settings are kept in your browser (localStorage). They stay on your device and are not sent to the server. See the cookie policy for details.

4. Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting server may automatically log technical information about requests — IP address, browser type, requested page and time. This is used only to run and secure the site, not to identify or profile you.

5. Cloudflare

The site is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., which speeds up loading and protects against attacks. To deliver pages, Cloudflare processes technical request data (IP address, browser type, requested page and time).

For visit statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts pages viewed, country, device and browser type, the referring page and loading speed. It does not use cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not track you across other sites and does not use your IP address to identify you; we only see aggregated statistics.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and securing the site and understanding how to improve it (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare may process data outside the EU; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.

6. Other third parties

The site does not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, social media plugins or external font services — fonts are served from the same server. Your data is not sold or shared with other third parties.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to information about the processing of your data and to request its correction or deletion. You can delete information stored in your browser yourself at any time. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can contact the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).

8. Changes

If advertising or other data-processing tools are added to the site, this policy will be updated before they are switched on, and the date at the top will change.
