How to read the calendar
- Figures are for a 40-hour, five-day week: 8 hours a day, 7 hours on a pre-holiday day (Labour Law, Section 135).
- Public holidays on weekdays reduce the number of working days. If 4 May or 18 November falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the next working day is a day off.
- Working-day transfers ordered by the Cabinet of Ministers are mandatory for state institutions; companies may follow them by choice, so figures at a particular workplace may differ.
